This week's topic for Illustration Friday is "theater." I did an illustration of tanuki (Japanese raccoon dogs) doing kabuki theater. Tanuki are said to be masters of disguise according to Japanese legend, so I thought it would be fitting for them to be dressed up as kabuki actors. I call it "Tanuki Kabuki."
These topics are a lot of fun to draw. I'm looking forward to the next one. : )
Great fun illustration, those dogs are really cute - fantastic detail. Love your post with the lion and dandellion, my daughters two favourite things, will have show it her tonight.
