Illustration Friday: "Pattern"
It's pretty late again, but better late than never, right? It's been quite a busy week and my computer is still having issues.
Anyway, the topic is "pattern" this week and for some reason I thought of Hawaiian t-shirts that tourists and such wear. I love the floral pattern on those. Since I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium this week (which was amazing, by the way) and saw a white shark for the first time, I felt inspired and did a quick illustration of a shark. He's pretty happy wearing his keen-looking, pink Hawaiian-patterned shirt.
Done in Photoshop this week. The hibiscus patterns were hand-drawn, but made into a brush in PS to make the pattern. Hope you enjoy! : )

This shark is so cute and funny! He is a cool guy, isn't he? :) I love the Hawaiian pattern on his shirt and the colors! Great work!
ReplyDeleteThis guy reminds me that I bought a ukulele last weekend and I haven't had time to pick it up for the last couple of days. Ahh the Islands!
