Illustration Friday: "Fast"
Here is my entry for this week's Illustration Friday. When I think of "fast," I think of hummingbirds, so I did a quick doodle of one beating its wings really fast.
Done in Photoshop. I haven't been feeling too well this week, so this is a bit more rushed than normal. Nonetheless, I hope everyone enjoys. : ) Have a great weekend!

Illustration Friday: "Frozen"
Well, I know it's a bit early for Christmas, but this is how my entry for Illustration Friday turned out. It looks like a Christmas card, so I'll probably use it this year for that and add some text later off to the right side.
Anyway, the topic for this week was "frozen," so I drew a chilly little chickadee. I love chickadees, but I rarely see them in my area in California. I used to always see them in Illinois at my grandma's house when I was little, though, and I remember how much I loved watching them. Cute little birds, they are. : )
Done in Photoshop. Enjoy!

Illustration Friday: "Flying"
For this week's topic, "flying," I did a quick illustration of a happy little bumble bee carrying some pollen to flowers. Wee... looks like fun. : ) I'm not a huge fan of bees (I've always been a bit scared of them), but I admit they are sort of cute. Plus, they fit the topic quite well, I think.
Done in Illustrator. I'm looking forward to the next topic. Hope all enjoy. : )

Illustration Friday: "Pattern"
It's pretty late again, but better late than never, right? It's been quite a busy week and my computer is still having issues.
Anyway, the topic is "pattern" this week and for some reason I thought of Hawaiian t-shirts that tourists and such wear. I love the floral pattern on those. Since I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium this week (which was amazing, by the way) and saw a white shark for the first time, I felt inspired and did a quick illustration of a shark. He's pretty happy wearing his keen-looking, pink Hawaiian-patterned shirt.
Done in Photoshop this week. The hibiscus patterns were hand-drawn, but made into a brush in PS to make the pattern. Hope you enjoy! : )
